NO,i would watch the video, but that's exactly what they want. The terrorist want us to watch the video to try and send a "message",and to try to scare us.
1. The media should not show the full clip out of respect for the family of James Foley. Since it is on the internet, it is impossible for people not to see it, but it will come off as respectful for the media sites that do not post it. The New York Post lost respect from me with their cover picture.
2. I do not believe that we need to retaliate; however, if this happens again, then the U.S. should intervene with violence and more drastic measures.
The media should not allow this kind of thing for YouTube the video got taken down within hours of its release and on twitter they suspended their accounts for the journalist that shared images of the beheading with CNN they are not showing the video any where but they are showing stills of it.
I don't think we need to show the video of Foley getting killed, we wont get anything out of it, all we need to know is the man was beheaded by terriorist we dont need to see it the only the only people who might want to or need to is the family, or the goverment. since it envolves terriorist
I may watch the video but in a very respectable way. I do not agree with murder or killing people no matter what they did, so I really don't have any desire to see it because he died. But, I may watch it simply to see and try and comprehend how brutal and evil the terrorist group Isis is. The terror groups Al Qaeda and Taliban both did these things before I could comprehend really what was happening. I also would like to see what they said to everyone during the video. I also would not tell everyone about it. I do not want Isis to get anymore attention then they are already getting.
I personally believe that the media should that the media should indeed be able to show the beheading because it is their right to play anything, however, they should be required to give a warning because most people won't want to watch such an event, but for those people, they have the ability to change the channel or not watch. The U.S. should be involved with ISIS because our citizens have been threatened and killed so we should indeed retaliate.
The Media should not show the murder on any source of media. they shouldn't even show pictures of the murder either, because there is a strong possibility that James Foley's family would have seen it and that is not right. plus no one wants to see someone completely innocent and vulnerable being killed.
1.The video should be available but not shown on TV also kinda hide it as well on their web site and have a age restriction.

No, the media should not show the video of this man being killed. That shows disrespect to this mans life, and Americans should not be exposed to this kind of brutality without discretion. If individuals want to seek out this content for themselves, as many are doing, then that is their own choice, and is acceptable. However, many people want to respect this man and do not want to view this act of brutality. As for the United States dealing with this terrorist group, we shouldn't deal with them. The US should pull its troops out of Iraq, because it is not truly our business to be there anyways. America should focus a little more on protecting itself from terrorists and threats, and a little less on going to other nations to protect them from the same threat.
1. To me personally I say we shouldn't show this gruesome video, even though I'm into gruesome videos anyway..But We should't show this because for people who haven't seen it shouldn't see it, it will only put more fear into us,and being in fear won't do anything.

If the video was still on the internet, I most likely would see it at some point. It's disrespectful to the family and friends of James Foley to have that video posted anywhere on the web. No human should want to watch a video of such. It's highly likely that Isis took the video to instill fear in the Americans.
America needs to insure that the video is nowhere in the cyber world. They should take no other action against ISIS in order to attempt to create peace.
Social media should not be showing the video of the beheading or any gruesome details about it. However, the people should be educated about such dangerous events that are occurring around them. What happened to James Foley, was tragic. I highly doubt he would want people obsessing over his death and seeing him in such an awful condition. Even if Twitter, Facebook, and other social media cites blocked the video and don't share the horrific details of the beheading, it will still find its way around. Even if journalists stay out of the picture, extremest want it to be spread. They killed a man, so they knew it would be spread because our society obsesses over such horrible events that take place. All the United States should do is get all of our people out of danger there, and bring them back home to safety. We should not do anything else because I believe that the beheading was a message, a warning, and a threat to us. The United States needs to turn the other cheek and keep it's people out of harms way the best they can. If we retaliate, it is what they desire, and they are most likely preparing for us to attack. It would be a disaster, unless we have a bigger and better plan than they could possibly have.

I believe that the media should not show the beheading of James Foley. I don't know who would want to watch that; especially if his family and friends are watching. That would be very hard on them all.
Originally when I heard of ISIS I thought that us(America) should not do anything at all. However after watching the video and reading the article I believe that America should take involvement and do something to stop ISIS before they grow even bigger. The U.S. should send soldiers over there to end ISIS.
I do not think that the video of James Foley being beheaded should be shown publicly. There really is no point to showing it. The only thing that will come from its views are hatred and more violence and that is exactly what we do not want. However, I do believe that the government should have some involvement. We can not let the people take action, but we can let the government take action.

Violence is a sensitive subject especially with some people who believe we live in a perfect little bubble. When a tragedy arises it is common to have a conflict between two sides of people. One side who wants to show it, the other who thinks it shouldn't be aired. Personally I am torn because there are certain things the public needs to become aware of, however some images are so gruesome it is hard to come to an agreement. I feel like we all have a choice to watch it, but if it is out there we may be tempted to watch it and then regret it. Therefore if the material is not put out there in the first place then no problem should arise. I do believe we have our own choice however maybe we need to stay innocent as long as we can.
Media should not show the full video. Because it could not affect nicely to the people. It just gonna make the society disorderly, and noisy. Also the biggest matter is his family. Nobody cannot endure normally after watching the video that shows their family member's miserable death.

Also, thinking of James Foley's family, they probably do not want to watch their loved one's death going viral and having to be bombarded with links to the video everyday. The media should not show the entire video. Who would want to watch something like that? I think that showing the entire video would make us afraid of them, which i perceive as the intention of the video in the first place. I don't know a whole lot about ISIS to make a well educated opinion on what we as the U.S. should do, but after reading about an american reporter that was trying to expose what is happening in Syria, i think we need to take the most forceful approach to dealing with ISIS, because its only a matter of time before they kill more innocent people. and for what? popularity? to spread fear? i hardly think that justifies taking a human life. This video would terrifies my self and others. No one should watch it. What is the point of killing a person over his photography? What type of people would purposely behead somebody to make a political point? If people have problems the best way to handle arguments and disagreements is thew discussion.
I think that the full video of the terrorist group ISIS beheading James Foley the american journalist would be disturbing for some viewers and the family of said reporter. Youtube has followed in taking down the video in a matter of hours of being put up on the site. James family has posted comments to not show or share the gratuitous video because that is not what the family wants to see. However the video is not all over the sites people go on daily it is on many sites who proceed in showing gross acts of humanity.I don't think the media has the right to show the full video on tv because the family does not want it shown, but no matter what it will be on the internet for ever.
I do think this act will push the us closer to involvement in Iraq but many people will have mixed desicions of taking action. I do believe that the us should show force by detroying ISIS strongholds via JDAM- big bombs.

Putting aside what the media and population want, what it comes down to is the feelings of this man's family. He was beheaded by a terrorist group, and his family must be in great turmoil right now. It seems that his family wishes the way of his death wasn't so publicized, and I believe that the media should listen to them before they go and put it out for the world to see.
No, I do not believe the US should go after ISIS for this incident. While yes, it is very, very upsetting to all Americans, the truth is that this is only one life. There is no doubt the terrorists did this intentionally to try to get attention to the government, which giving this to the media definitely does do. i would not watch the video of what isis is showing of the american's in syria because that's whats isis wants. They want us to see one of our people get beheaded and get scared by it.
Then local could be the city metro buses and a sink hole just a few days ago a water main broke and water went every where it flooded the nearby business and hotel the bus driver thought he could get through the water but didn't see the hole everyone survived.
