Personally I don't have any opinions that I put towards the election because I'm nowhere near the voting age so I don't really know if there is a Republican or Democrat heading the race because I haven't paid much attention due to the fact again that I'm not old enough anyways. As for where the election is headed I also don't know because from what I've seen and heard with everything it sounds like both sides have a lot to offer and because this is going to be such a controversial election I think we'll just have to keep watching until election day.
I personally think that the outcome of tuesday's delegate voting was pretty well of what was projected. Barrack Obama and Hilary Clinton are neck and neck in the Democratic race and mostly its been Mccain and romney in the republican area. As of now I think that Clinton led the Democratic vote in Arizona, having 51 percent and Obama following close behind. I would of really wanted to see Obama receive the ten electoral votes from arizona, but i guess not everything goes as planned. And also Hilary as of now is projected to win the huge 55 votes from California, as is Mccain to win them for the republican side. I'm not sure if the election for presidency is headed exactly the way i had portrayed, but the obvious one is that Obama and Clinton are going even with each other for the Republicans
Honestly, I haven't been paying attention towards the election. Therefore, I do not have any personal opinions on the matter. However, I did hear from my mother as well as others that Hilary Clinton and Barrack Obama are pretty close in the Democratic race and that McCain is ahead in the Republican race. I honestly don't really know where the election for presidency is headed.
LAST TIME I HEARD OBAMA WAS IN FRONT OF CLINTON, AND I COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT MCCAIN AND ROMNEY, BUT I THINK, WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT NOMATTER WHO WINS, THE DEMOCRATS ARE GOING TO TAKE OVER THE PRESIDENCY. EVERYONE IS JUST SO TIRED OF GEORGE BUSH THAT ALL THEY WANT IS CHANGE AND THAT IS EXACTLY HOW OBAMA AND CLINTON ARE RUNNING THEIR CAMPAIGNS. THE ONLY THING THE REPUBLICANS GOT GOING FOR THEM IS THAT THEY ARE LIKE RONALD REAGAN.
I think the outcome of Tuesday was pretty much what most people thought. McCain is leading the republican party by a good amount. Obama and Clinton are very close although Clinton was a little ahead. I see the race for president being between Barrack Obama, Hilary Clinton and John Mccain. I think that either Obama or Clinton will win but we will have to wait and see. I'm fine with the outcome of Tuesday although i was hoping that Obama would be ahead of Clinton, but there is still awhile before the election and I hope by that time Obama can pull ahead.
I agree with Gary that the Democrats will most likely win over this year's presidential election. As of now though, clinton is actually ahead of Obama in delegate votes. John Mccain's delegate votes are in the 500's, and Obama and Clinton are in the 700's. Besides those three candidates, Romney and Paul fell way behind in the delegate voting after Super Tuesday and are most likely not going to be elected.
I agree with Gary saying that the democrats will win the election. I believe Barrack Obama and Hilary Clinton will be very close together, but will both be ahead of any of the republicans. I think people would like a change and as Gary said that is how Obama and Clinton are both running their Campaigns.
I agree with Colin. I believe that Romney and Paul will not win the election, or even come close to winning it. They are way behind the top three candidates which are Obama, Clinton and McCain and i really don't see either of them victorious in this election.
although I haven't really been paying attention to the election that much latley I just turned on the news and it says that hillary is barely winning over obama for the democratic party mostly becuase she is very popular in california and won alot of votes there. And Mccian is winning most of the republican votes. But I really can't say I have an opinion about an of them only becuase I haven't heard any of them speak or anything
After tuesday's delegate voting, it looks like the democratic position is almost dead even between clinton and obama. I think the Republican party will probably be represented by John McCain, which is probably their only chance to win the election. I do agree with colin that the presidency will most likely go to the democrats (cross your fingers it's not Hilary).
I agree with colin. the deemocrats are neck and neck. And McCain is dominating the republican side so far. Should be more interesting on the democrat side, but mccain was the underdog for a while.
I also partially agree with corey
i hope that the demorcrats choose Obama. This way if either a republican or democrat end p as president, i'll be happy, but thats just an opinion. But with the democratic way of splitting votes it seems like a very close race. but McCain is way ahead of Romney and Huckabee since they are actually just sharing votes that DON'T go to McCain. Great strategy by McCain
i think it would be intersesting to see what would happen if either hilary or obama were on the republican side because they are getting the most attention in the popular media.
I do agree with Carlos that it would be interesting if obama and clinton were on the republican side. Let's all just pray Hilary doesn't get elected.
I agree with Alec that the democrats will probably win the election due to their campaigning for a change.
like ashley i havent paid much attention to the elections i mean i know obama and clinton are neck and neck...peresonally my vote is for obama(although im not old enough top vote yet..so it doesnt count)i know mcCain is like the predicted winner for the rep. but im not really following his wins.
like logan says this will be a VERY controversial election..i mean there are so many things that our next prez. will have to deal with, i cant wait to see who comes out the winner...as long as they're a democrat its all good by me...because i honestly think that they actually want a REAL cahnge in our government.
I don't really have a personal opinion as to the outcome of super Tuesday. I've heard that Obama and Clinton are in very close, and McCain is leading for the republicans. Even though McCain is ahead for the republicans I think that he'll fall behind in the final election.
I agree with what other people are saying about the democrats taking over office in the long run. No matter what I think that many Americans what to get the republicans out of office and will vote for either Clinton or Obama just to see that happen.
It's true that Romney and Paul fell so far behind in the voting that the don't seem to have a fighting chance at winning. It really is too late for them to catch up to McCain and I don't see it happening. McCain seems to be the republican pick.
I think that the final outcome will be McCain vs. Obama.
I've heard on the news and radio that more and more people are registering and coming out to vote. I think this is definitely because we the people are not happy with how things are going and we need change.
In the democratic party Hillary is barely ahead with Obama right behind! Romney just dropped out the race! This will give Mccain a huge lead. I think that it will come down to Hillary or Mccain for president. Lots of people i have talked to believe that the next president is going to be a democrat.
I agree with Imcaslan that it seems like
when its all over there will be a democrat in office. The democrats appear to be much stronger in the polls than the republicans.
I think its cool what nstrength said about how more and more people are coming out to vote. Its good to see more people starting to care about where are country is heading in the future.
ROMNEY IS OUT OF THE RACE SINCE HE HEARD THE RESULTS OF SUPER TUESDAY. NOT THAT ANYONE REALLY CARES. BUT I THOUGHT HIS EXCUSE FOR LEAVING WAS QUITE INTERESTING. HE SAID HE KNEW THAT HE WAS NEVER GOING TO WIN BUT THE REASON HE STAYED IN SO LONG WAS TO HELP HIS PARTY GET MORE FOLLOWERS AND THAT NOW, AFTER SUPER TUESDAY STAYING IN WOULD ONLY HELP THE DEMOCRATS. I DIDNT KNOW PEOPLE ACTUALLY DID THAT. THAT THEY WOULD BE SO COMMITTED TO THEIR PARTY AS TO RUN A RACE THAT THEY KNOW THEY WILL NEVER WIN. WHATEVER, DEMOCRATS GONNA TAKE PRESIDENCY ANYWAY.
THE REASON PEOPLE ARE MORE INTO THIS ELECTION THAN THE OTHERS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE FED UP WITH GEORGE BUSH AND ARE GLAD THAT HE IS NOT ON THE BALOT ANYMORE. PLUS, IF THE DEMOCRATS TAKE OFFICE, NO MATTER IF ITS OBAMA OR CLINTON, THEN IT WILL MAKE HISTORY. AFTER THIS ELECTION, IN 4 YEARS, I NOMINATE OPRAH FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!
I don't have that many opinions about the election because I can't vote yet. Barack Obama and Hilary are pretty much tied for the Democratic side. even though i haven't paying much attention to the election, i know that hilary was a little more ahead than Obama and McCain is ahead of the republican side.
Now that romney is out of the picture as of today, Mccain is the only main candidate left on the REpublican side. Clinton and Obama are still neck and neck for the Democrats, and i believe that one of the democrats will be winning the elections in november. I also agree with natalie and ryan, saying that it is definitely good to see a positive change in our nation in voting. More people are seeming to "care" about the elections and the future of the nation. On the contrary, one has to wonder about all the uneducational votes that are also being made, and people choosing to vote just because and without real thought or reasoning
I personally don't have any opinions about the outcome of super Tuesday. I haven't been following along with any of the presidential candidates. Therefore my opinion would not be supported by anything. But all I hope for is a good president who will run the country well.
My only opinion that I do have is that i think that this election is very important to many people because if any of the democrats become the president then it will make history. So i think that everyone who can vote should.
I agree with Colin and believe that he knows a lot about the election.
i honestly have no idea what is going on because i dont pay any attention to politics or get into the discussions of them so i dont really have a voice when it comes to this. I do think though that obama would be a better democrat rep than clinton. i have nothing against a woman president, i just dont think that she is the correct woman to be doing it. i agree with carlos to see either of them on the republican side. speaking of republicans i have no idea who is running because that side isnt getting as much publicity as the democratic side. like i said, im not much into politics so i dont really know. My vote will not matter because i will not be of voting age this election
I don't like ANY of this election's candidates and the one I did like dropped out! (It was Giuliani) I think Barrack has good social views but horrible economic views and Clinton deserves to be locked up somewhere and never let out. Is she crazy? Socialized medicine is NOT the answer! Solutions addressing costs and medical care are!
Obama and Hillary. Its amazing that we have such two strong representatives from the democratic side. Both of these candidates (in my opinion) are highly intelligent and will be able to successfully lead the country. As for the republican side I don't really follow up on, even though I should because there are a few issues that I agree with from the republican side. McCain is a great candidate for the republican side.
I am in fact, a Democrat and will vote in this next election 2008. I should of registered earlier to vote on Tuesday's primaries. If I would of....I'd vote Obama ^_^
So if I understand correctly, Hilary won AZ in the Super Tuesday elections. That kind of comes as a shock to me. I would've liked to see Obama take it but since the two are so close its ok. It really does shock me that Hillary is in the lead!!!
Obviously McCain is in the lead...Waaaay in the lead. If other republicans are dropping out this should give McCain an even better chance.
I can see the election getting down to McCain and Obama...hopefully
I really dont have a strong opinion in this election....a fresh face is all we need!
ok I keep hearing people say things along the lines of "who cares". In my opinion everyone who is even slightly following the election should care about BOTH sides of the election. You may that one side has it but who really knows
I just think that we should look at both sides and care about who the president will be.
You really dont know until the very end.
I agree that the election will be a controversial one. If either Obama or Clinton get to the end its still a "first".
It will be VERY interesting to find out who will get in on the democrat side
I'm just reading all of these and I'm sure Mrs. Burr is just so pleased (major sarcasm) to know that so many of us arent following the election!!! Sorry Mrs. Burr!!!!!!
:(
The elections are as everyone thought they would go. Obama and clinton are the leading the Democrats and McCain and Romney for the Republicans. Hilary won the ten electorial votes in Arizona. The race between Obama and Clinton is very close. However, the republican race is not so, with McCain feeling kinda comfortable. I really want Obama to be the Democratic representative because i just really dont like Hilary. I want McCain to be the rep for Republicans.
Yes i agree with Ryan i do think that the next president will be democratic. to my dismay. But it may be a good change. I Hope McCain wins but i do think ryan is right in that the next President will be a Democrat.
i feel for the republican party it will be John McCain and the democrats it will be between Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton to win their party. i feel that Hillary does not belong in the presidential seat because i feel that a women should not run the country when we are in war and the democrats will pull all the troops out of iraq and we will get bombed again, so i feel a republican should run the country right now.
i feel ryan and brett r wrong especially if Clinton wins her party then McCain will be our president not a domocrat.
I personally do not have much input on the election, but I do believe that our next president will be a democrat.
I have also viewed how the Super Tuesday went. It looked as if everything ran well, Hillary and Obama are neck to neck in the election. This election seems to be intense.
